Masquerade formed in the summer '86

We had this crazy idea to wear these masks. Our sound was an edgy Rock almost Metal kind of sound. We shared a rehearsal space with SanFran locals "Leather Panteez". I don't think we lasted more 10 months. Our first gig was a battle of the bands at a local bowling alley. The stage was setup over 3 lanes in the middle of the place and I remember people were bowling down both sides of us. Still we had a lot of fun and drank a lot of free beer.

After we split up Mark joined forces with his

Uncle's Zydeco

band.

in Evangelist.

Justin - Guitar

Man I don't

even know what

to say. I just

look at these

pictures and

laugh.

Lucky for us the place that sold spandex rocker clothing was right down the street.

After this project I left to spend time with my Dad in New Mexico. I had a little Demon I needed to get rid of. My Dad and a few of his friends helped me get my life back on track.
